Welcome to WowScore, operated by KGIL Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). We respect your privacy and maintain appropriate safeguards to protect your information in accordance with applicable laws.

WowScore provides credit education, score tracking, and personalised guidance to help users understand and improve their credit profile. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Website, App, or Services (“Platform”).

This Policy applies only to the Platform and does not cover third-party websites or services linked to it. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

By using WowScore, you consent to the collection, use, storage, and processing of your information as described in this Policy and the Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you register for or use WowScore, we may collect:

  • Gender
  • Residential or correspondence address
  • Date of birth
  • PAN (or other government ID used for credit bureau verification)
  • Email address
  • Mobile number and other contact information
  • Location
  • Any information you share via chat, feedback forms, support tickets, or surveys

If you choose to share information in public areas of the Platform (for example, community forums or comment sections), that information may be visible to other users.

1.2 Credit and Financial Information

To provide credit-guidance Services, we may collect and store:

  • Your credit score and credit report data (obtained from credit bureaus with your consent)
  • Bank account or loan account details you choose to link or disclose for score analysis purposes
  • Photograph (for example, for identity verification, if applicable)
  • Signature (where required for verification)

Information collected under 1.1 and 1.2 is collectively referred to as “Personal Information”.

Note: WowScore does not originate, underwrite, or disburse loans, and does not act as a lending service provider. We do not collect or process credit or debit card payment details unless you subscribe to a paid feature, in which case such data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and not stored by us.

1.3 Additional Information for Compliance

We may request additional information as required to comply with applicable law, or to enable additional features as and when offered. Providing such information is optional unless it is required for a specific feature.

1.4 Information Automatically Collected

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preference, referring URLs, time spent, screens viewed, and general usage patterns — collected via server logs, cookies, and similar technologies, for security, analytics, and service-improvement purposes.
  • Log data: Registration date, last password-change date, and last successful login.

Information collected under 1.3 and 1.4, together with Personal Information, is collectively referred to as “Information”.

2. Your Consent

By providing your Information, you consent to its collection, use, and processing as described in this Privacy Policy. We may obtain additional consent for specific features, such as accessing your credit report. You may withdraw your consent at any time through your account settings or by contacting us as provided in Section 12.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and personalise our credit-improvement services.
  • Retrieve and refresh your credit score and report with your consent.
  • Generate personalised recommendations, alerts, reminders, and educational content.
  • Respond to queries and resolve grievances.
  • Improve, test, and secure the Platform and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Combine information from permitted sources to provide relevant insights.
  • Send information about new features or offers, subject to your preferences.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

We do not sell your credit data to lenders or share your data for loan-origination purposes.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share your Information:

  • For legal compliance: When required by law, court orders, or government authorities.
  • With credit bureaus and verification partners: To retrieve and verify your credit and identity information, using only the information necessary.
  • With service providers: For hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

  • For marketing: Limited Information may be shared with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
  • During business transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Information may be transferred to the successor entity subject to applicable privacy protections.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties with whom you independently choose to share your Information.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

Your Information is stored in India and retained only as long as necessary to provide our Services or comply with applicable laws.

After account closure, we may retain anonymised or aggregated data for legitimate business and analytics purposes.

You may request deletion of your Information or withdraw consent by contacting grievance@wowscore.ai, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Where applicable, third-party analytics or advertising tools may use cookies for personalised content.

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your Information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

  • Access and correct: Review or update your Personal Information through your profile or by contacting us.
  • Manage permissions: Control device permissions such as camera, location, and notifications through your device settings.
  • Close your account: Request account closure through the App. Uninstalling the App alone does not delete your account.
  • Request your data: Request a copy of your Personal Information or its deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
  • Nominate: Nominate a person to exercise your data rights in case of death or incapacity, as permitted by law.
  • Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.

Deletion of required information may affect our ability to provide certain Services.

10. Eligibility

WowScore is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly permit users under 18 to access the Platform. If you believe a user is under 18, please report it via our in-app reporting mechanism.

We may update this Privacy Policy at our discretion. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

13. Withdrawal of Consent

13.1 Subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements, you may withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or processing of your Personal Information by contacting our Compliance Officer.

14. Dispute Redressal

Users agree that the courts at Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from use of the Platform.
